About the role#

The Overseas Intern serves in schools, care centers, or residential homes to support vulnerable children and families. This is a full-time, unpaid, rolling-term internship based in Kenya. Interns are responsible for raising funds to cover their own expenses.

What you'll do#

• Tutor children in English, math, language, reading, and writing.
• Lead or assist in teaching math, English, art, music, or dance.
• Lead sport clinics and assist with ministry-related projects.
• Provide administrative assistance in ministry offices.
• Participate in intern small group devotions.

What you'll need#

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience working with and providing leadership to children.
• Agreement with the organization's Statement of Faith.
• Ability to adapt to the climate and physical demands of the work environment.
• Demonstrated emotional maturity and high emotional intelligence.
• Majors in Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, Human Resources, Sociology, Business Administration, Communications, or International Relations are relevant to this role.
