The Service Department Intern role is a part-time apprentice program designed to assist with the effective operation of the shop. This position is intended for students, and the shift schedule is flexible to accommodate summer and school commitments.
What you'll do#
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the shop, including cleaning bays and emptying garbage.
- Deliver parts to shop technicians efficiently.
- Move trucks into and out of the shop as directed by service advisors.
- Interact with customers in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
- Support tasks that increase technician proficiency and efficiency.
What you'll need#
- General mechanical knowledge or aptitude.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Currently pursuing studies in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.

- Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
