Parts Distribution Center (PDC) Operations Intern

About the role#

The Parts Distribution Center (PDC) Operations Internship provides students with hands-on experience in warehouse operations within the automotive industry. This role is designed to integrate academic study with practical tasks, supporting team initiatives and contributing to the success of ongoing projects.

What you'll do#

• Assist with daily warehouse operations and specific departmental tasks.
• Contribute to ongoing projects and support broader team efforts.
• Perform research and data analysis as required.
• Complete assignments and provide regular progress reports.
• Use Manhattan WMS to investigate inventory discrepancies and support accuracy efforts.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory research, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Operate material handling equipment safely to support warehouse operations.

What you'll need#

• Active enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s, or other degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university.
• Completion of at least one semester of coursework.
• Preferred fields of study include Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management; candidates in related fields are also considered.
