Summer Student - Otsego, MN

About the role#

J. Wagner GmbH is seeking temporary summer support for the operations team. This role provides hands-on experience in a production and warehouse environment, supporting core manufacturing and distribution processes from June through September.

What you'll do#

• Perform standard and repetitive assembly tasks on production lines.
• Operate various shop machinery and hand tools, such as presses, custom tooling, air drivers, and torque wrenches.
• Pick and prepare materials and products accurately for production and customer orders.
• Pack, label, and ship orders according to customer and carrier requirements.
• Organize inventory and support cycle counts, stock rotation, and process improvements.
• Participate in lean and 6S activities to maintain workplace standards.

What you'll need#

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English.
• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to use basic tools and equipment safely.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, assignments, and work schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.

• Location: Plymouth, Minnesota.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• Modality: Full-time, on-site.
• Compensation: $16–$17 per hour.
