Summer Student

About the role#

J. Wagner GmbH is seeking temporary summer support for the operations team. This role involves working on the production floor or in the warehouse to assist with assembly, material handling, and order fulfillment. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2026.

What you'll do#

• Perform standard and repetitive assembly on production lines.
• Operate various shop machinery and hand-tools, such as presses, air drivers, and torque wrenches.
• Pick and prepare materials and products for production and customer orders.
• Verify order accuracy and complete shipment audits using computer systems.
• Organize inventory, support cycle counts, and maintain stock rotation.
• Maintain 6S standards and participate in lean activities.

What you'll need#

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and working with decimals and fractions.
• Proficiency with scanners, RF guns, and basic computer systems for data entry and inventory tracking.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.

• Compensation: $16–$17 per hour.
