About the role#
The Human Resources Intern will support core HR functions with a focus on employee relations, operations, compliance, and employee experience. This part-time role provides hands-on exposure to HR processes and contributes to maintaining a compliant workplace environment. You will report to the Senior Human Resources Manager.
What you'll do#
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing paperwork and coordinating orientation.
- Update and maintain employee records and personnel files in Dayforce while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Help ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and labor regulations.
- Generate HR reports and assist with data analysis.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and internal events.
- Provide general administrative support and contribute to process improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in HR operations, employee relations, and compliance.
- Ability to display discretion when handling sensitive data and confidential information.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Prior administrative or internship experience and familiarity with HRIS systems are preferred.
