About the role#
This student work program provides exposure to manufacturing processes within the Stretch Film plant. You will gain practical experience in business operations while developing your analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist with production data entry and month-end closing procedures.
- Support scheduling by managing work orders to maintain efficient production flow.
- Monitor raw material and packing supply consumption.
- Prepare production trend reports regarding yield, quantity, and material usage.
- Coordinate with the shipping department to prepare daily truck requests and bills of lading.
- Participate in the ISO program and assist with plant office projects.
- Maintain department documentation, filing systems, and records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Perform daily tasks independently and complete miscellaneous assignments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program focused on Business Administration or Business Management.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computing tasks.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
