HP is seeking a Performance Engineer Intern for a 12-month placement within the HP Wolf Security team. This role focuses on developing cybersecurity solutions to protect customer devices and data. Interns are expected to contribute directly to the development of endpoint security products, working alongside engineering teams on real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Improve the performance test infrastructure.
- Add new features and resolve bugs within performance reporting systems.
- Engage in programming activities that directly impact security offerings for customers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or graduation from a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in a scientific or engineering discipline, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
- Status as a 2nd year, final year, or master’s level student.
- Theoretical knowledge of Python 2 or Python 3.
- An active interest in building endpoint security solutions.
- A demonstrated interest in programming activities outside of academia, such as open-source contributions or coding competitions.
