Performance Engineer Intern (12 months)

About the role#

This 12-month internship offers the opportunity to join the HP Wolf Security team. You will work on developing technology solutions to enhance endpoint security products, focusing on protecting customer devices and data through micro-virtualization technology. Interns are expected to contribute directly to the team's engineering efforts and make a meaningful impact on customer security.

What you'll do#

• Improve the performance test infrastructure.
• Develop new features and resolve bugs within performance reporting systems.
• Contribute to the development of security technology solutions.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in or recent graduation from a bachelor's or master's degree program in a scientific or engineering discipline, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Data Science.
• Candidates should be in their 2nd year, final year, or at the master's level.
• Theoretical knowledge of Python 2 or Python 3.
• Active interest in building endpoint security solutions.
• Practical programming experience gained through academic placements or internships.
• Demonstrated interest in programming activities outside of academia, such as open-source contributions or coding competitions.
