About the role#
Heritage Academy Schools is seeking a Summer Student Worker to support the Facilities Department. This role involves active, hands-on work to maintain school buildings and grounds throughout the summer term.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine upkeep and maintenance of furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.
- Assist with general building maintenance tasks, including painting and moving furniture.
- Perform janitorial duties as required.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the department.
What you'll need#
- Must be an active scholar in good standing at a Heritage Academy School.
- Ability to perform active physical work, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing throughout the day.
- Ability to frequently lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
- Comfort working in an environment with potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, vibration, and loud noise.
