As a Children's Room Specialist Intern, you will support the Young Adult Families program, which serves children aged 2 and older living in supportive housing. You will assist in providing resources, community outreach, and service linkages to children in the program.
What you'll do#
- Facilitate early childhood and school-aged activities.
- Lead projects including STEM initiatives and arts and crafts.
- Provide homework assistance and educational support.
- Assist with computer literacy training and the development of life skills.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma (an associate's degree is preferred).
- A creative, responsible, patient, and caring approach to working with children.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A valid US driver's license is preferred.
- Academic background in Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, Nursing, or Public Health.
