About the role#
Harris Beach Murtha is seeking law students for a 10-week summer program based in the New York City office. This full-time, paid position is designed for students graduating in 2028 who have an interest in launching their legal careers in New York City upon graduation.
What you'll do#
Summer associates work directly with the Mass Torts and Industry-Wide Litigation Practice Group. Responsibilities include:
- Completing research and writing assignments focused on product liability, negligence, and toxic torts.
- Collaborating with a designated partner and associate mentor who provide guidance and feedback.
- Engaging in various professional and social activities to experience the firm culture.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a J.D. student in the Class of 2028 at an ABA accredited law school.
- Strong academic credentials, with a preference for students in the top 25% of their class and a 3.0+ GPA.
- Experience with law journals, law reviews, or moot court is preferred.
