Manufacturing Operations Intern, Fractionation

About the role#

The Manufacturing Operations Intern, Fractionation will support commissioning, validation activities, and routine Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) operations. This role provides hands-on experience in a regulated pharmaceutical environment, offering exposure to industry-standard validation processes, quality systems, and mentorship from experienced professionals.

What you'll do#

• Assist Validation Specialists with the commissioning and qualification of manufacturing equipment and cleanroom facilities.
• Participate in routine GMP manufacturing operations, including the cleaning and sanitization of equipment and production areas, and the preparation of materials for production.
• Draft and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to manufacturing and cleaning processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, and Production.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records and logs in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to safety and compliance protocols while demonstrating knowledge of aseptic techniques.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• A minimum GPA of 3.00.
• Strong interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Microsoft Project and Visio is an asset.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, follow strict procedures, and lift or push up to 25 pounds.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in French and English is preferred; English proficiency is required for documentation and communication with international sites.

• Term: Full-time internship for 8 months, from September 2026 to the end of May 2027.
