Web Developer Co-Op

About the role#

The Web Developer Co-Op reports to the Marketing Communications Manager and supports the company's strategic initiatives through web-based development. This role focuses on front-end development with opportunities to assist in back-end tasks, ensuring that all digital experiences are secure, user-friendly, and visually consistent with brand standards. You will collaborate with the Senior Web Developer, the digital marketing team, designers, and project managers to maintain and enhance the company's web presence.

What you'll do#

• Build and maintain responsive websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages.
• Design website architecture and user interfaces based on project requirements.
• Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency across all digital platforms.
• Conduct routine site audits and debugging to optimize performance, speed, and scalability.
• Implement SEO best practices and ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to web performance, integrations, and user experience.
• Gather and refine technical specifications and project requirements.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in web development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with Content Management Systems (such as Sitefinity) and the .NET framework.
• Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and data formats including JSON and XML.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Schedule: Full-time, rolling term.
• Compensation: $23–$25 per hour.
