GIRO is seeking an IT Support Intern for the Fall 2026 term. Based in Montreal, you will work alongside the IT team to provide technical support for internal operations. This role is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Assemble and configure workstations, including computers and peripherals, based on operational needs.
- Classify and organize IT hardware to maintain equipment availability and workspace efficiency.
- Manage the inventory of technological equipment and keep tracking logs up to date.
- Create technical support tickets to document requests and track interventions.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a DEP program in IT support (Soutien informatique).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, networking fundamentals, and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in French, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
