About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Fall 2026 term. The role requires on-site attendance at the Hamilton Township, New Jersey office every workday. This position is intended for students seeking to earn academic credit for their internship experience.
What you'll do#
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary team to perform organic synthesis for research projects.
- Focus on hit-to-lead or lead optimization against novel drug targets.
- Complete library synthesis of compounds for research collections or collaborative partner projects.
- Report to the Department Director and other assigned personnel.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college.
- Pursuing a major in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related science-based field.
- Hands-on experience in multi-step organic synthesis, purification, and structural characterization.
- Proficiency with modern chromatographic techniques, including flash chromatography, preparative scale HPLC, and LCMS.
- Experience with parallel synthesis or solid phase chemistry.
