About the role#
This temporary research internship provides training for students interested in pursuing a career in research. Interns gain hands-on experience in basic skills while working under the guidance of a mentor.
What you'll do#
The intern will be trained in a range of skills and techniques depending on the assigned project. Responsibilities include learning statistical fundamentals and developing proficiency in the following areas:
- Data analysis
- Data interpretation
- Statistical theory
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Biology, Psychology, Public Health, Nursing, or Computer Science
- Interest in statistics and biostatistics
- Good communication, numeracy, literacy, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Genuine interest in learning
