About the role#
The Temporary Career and Co-Op Specialist plays a central role in ensuring students achieve positive career outcomes. This full-time position focuses on leading career events, engaging recent graduates, preparing students for the workforce, and managing employer partnerships to facilitate hiring and retention. This role is paid and requires on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Manage logistics for Career Fairs and Showcases, including recruitment, registration, and event flow.
- Track alumni placement outcomes, including conducting outreach to graduates at 6-month and 12-month intervals.
- Execute strategies for student resume collection and maintain job opportunity tracking by major.
- Manage the administrative paperwork process for employers hiring co-op students.
- Supervise and ensure the productivity of student workers supporting alumni-related efforts.
- Support students through biweekly check-ins and site visits.
What you'll need#
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- 2+ years of work experience in project management.
- Proven experience in systems-building and project management.
- Experience supporting students.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or Communications.
