Operations Intern

About the role#

Foresight Construction Group is seeking a motivated Operations Intern to support our Project Management and Field Operations teams. This role offers exposure to both office-based project management and field-based superintendent work, providing insight into the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects. Interns will gain hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced professionals while working 15-25 hours per week.

What you'll do#

• Assist with document control and project administration.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Support budgeting and cost tracking processes.
• Assist with schedule updates and coordination meetings.
• Communicate with trade partners and internal team members.
• Support Superintendents with daily jobsite coordination, quality control, and safety walks.
• Assist with punch list management and project closeout tasks.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering, or Architecture.
• Junior or Senior standing is preferred, though strong Sophomores will be considered.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
