Operations Intern

About the role#

Foresight Construction Group is seeking an Operations Intern to support our Project Management and Field Operations teams in Jacksonville. This role provides exposure to the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects, offering a mix of office-based project administration and field-based jobsite experience. Interns will work 15-25 hours per week with the opportunity to focus on specific areas of interest.

What you'll do#

• Assist with document control and project administration.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Support budgeting and cost tracking processes.
• Assist with schedule updates and coordination meetings.
• Communicate with trade partners and internal team members.
• Support Superintendents with daily jobsite coordination, quality control, and safety walks.
• Assist with punch list management and project closeout tasks.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Junior or Senior standing preferred; strong Sophomores will be considered.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
