About the role#
The 2027 Financial Audit Internship at Fifth Third Bank is designed to provide students with exposure to banking disciplines through hands-on experience. Interns are integrated into day-to-day operations, working as team members on larger initiatives while managing smaller projects independently. The program includes on-the-job training, networking opportunities, and performance coaching.
What you'll do#
- Perform assignments as determined by the Assignment Leader.
- Manage and report on project status using project management skills.
- Participate in community volunteerism projects.
- Deliver a formal presentation to line of business or division leaders.
- Communicate effectively with team members using strong verbal and written skills.
- Participate in leadership development activities, including training classes and speaker series.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising senior.
- Major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Relevant internship or work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to solve routine problems and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based sponsorship.
