About the role#
The Digital Operations Support Intern serves as a frontline resource for assisting customers and internal teams with online and mobile banking inquiries. This role focuses on help desk support, providing hands-on experience with banking technology, customer support processes, and digital product operations. You will gain exposure to how digital platforms function within a banking environment.
What you'll do#
- Respond to and resolve incoming digital banking support requests, including inquiries regarding online banking, mobile apps, and bill pay.
- Troubleshoot login issues, account access problems, and general platform navigation questions.
- Document support cases accurately within internal systems and track resolution progress.
- Escalate complex or technical issues to appropriate team members while maintaining ownership of the request.
- Monitor system alerts, outages, and service disruptions to provide timely updates.
- Partner with IT, Customer Support, and Digital Product teams to ensure efficient issue resolution.
- Identify recurring issues or trends to provide feedback for improving the customer experience.
- Support testing and validation efforts for digital platform updates and enhancements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A customer-first mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Basic technical aptitude and comfort navigating digital platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Interest in digital banking, fintech, or technology operations is preferred.
- Previous customer service or help desk experience is a plus.
