About the role#
The Commercial Strategy team is responsible for driving the growth of the Canadian Sportsbook business. This co-op position involves deriving business and customer insights, monitoring performance, and identifying industry trends. You will work in a collaborative environment alongside stakeholders from Casino Commercial, Analytics, Finance, Risk & Trading, Marketing, and Product.
What you'll do#
- Perform analysis to derive insights that support business decisions for the Canada Sportsbook.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual business forecasting.
- Support the creation, execution, and aftercare of improvement and optimization projects.
- Analyze and recommend improvements to optimize existing internal processes and external supplier relationships.
- Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape by researching industry trends and exploring new ways to improve conversion and retention.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a college or university degree program (Marketing, Finance, Mathematics, or Business Administration) with an expected completion date between December 2026 and June 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Tableau; experience with SQL, Python, or R is considered an asset.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Fall 2026, with an anticipated start date of September 8, 2026.
- Modality: This is an on-site role requiring presence in the office at least 3 times per week.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be within a commutable distance of the Toronto office or willing to relocate.
