About the role#
Shambaugh & Son, L.P. is seeking interns to support various company functions. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience in engineering, project management, technical services, business operations, or accounting. Interns will work closely with senior professionals to support daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Learn the responsibilities of your desired profession.
- Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work.
- Fulfill administrative duties around the office.
- Complete required safety training.
- Utilize AutoCAD or REVIT software.
- Support senior professionals and handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Currently enrolled in a high school or university academic program.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-directed with the ability to work without supervision.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including working extended hours and weekends if required.
- Preferred majors include Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or Graphic Design.
