Pharmacy Intern - TN or PA

About the role#

This is a paid, full-time Pharmacy Intern position supporting hospice and post-acute healthcare services. The role involves managing pharmacy operations and patient records while collaborating with a team to ensure high-quality care delivery.

What you'll do#

• Respond to customer inquiries and manage high volumes of inbound calls.
• Accurately manage patient records, including new admissions, demographic updates, and prescription refills.
• Collaborate with team members on pharmacy projects and fulfillment operations.
• Provide service to hospice partners, including assistance with package tracking and service reporting.
• Assist local pharmacies with claims adjudication.
• Complete all required Skill-Based Learnings and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in a school of pharmacy.
• Active registration with the board of pharmacy in the state of residence.
• Previous pharmacy experience.
• Demonstrated passion for improving patient experiences and outcomes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Windows-based systems and Microsoft applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
