Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern at Dragonfly Health, you will gain hands-on experience in the hospice and post-acute healthcare sector. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers exposure to pharmacy operations and clinical practice. You will work on-site in Tennessee as part of a team dedicated to providing essential pharmaceutical services to patients and hospice partners.

What you'll do#

• Manage a high volume of inbound calls efficiently while providing timely, customer-focused assistance.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and resolve service-related concerns.
• Accurately maintain patient records, including processing admissions, refills, and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members on various projects, assignments, and fulfillment operations.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality service to hospice partners.
• Complete required skill-based training to stay current with pharmacy processes and systems.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in a school of pharmacy.
• Previous pharmacy experience.
• Active registration with the board of pharmacy for your state of residence.
• Proficiency in Windows-based computers and Microsoft applications.
• Demonstrated passion for improving patient experiences and healthcare outcomes.
