About the role#
The Executive Intern provides administrative support to the Executive and Association teams at MSF USA. This role offers practical experience for individuals interested in international humanitarian work and NGO administration. The position is full-time, paid, and based on-site in New York.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Executive and Association teams, including assistance with the annual General Assembly and Board of Directors meetings.
- Update and maintain content on the internal Association website, including operational updates, meeting summaries, and event pages.
- Draft minutes and summaries for the Association Committee and staff meetings.
- Maintain and update databases and administrative systems for MSF USA association members.
- Contribute to the monthly association newsletter and manage intern-specific projects.
What you'll need#
- A genuine commitment to MSF's humanitarian principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Academic background in fields such as International Relations, Public Health, Business Administration, Communications, Political Science, Human Resources, Sociology, or Psychology.
