    About the role#

    We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. This role offers hands-on experience in software testing by working on internal tools that track and present delivery metrics. You will be involved in verifying backend and frontend functionalities, ensuring the reliability of real internal systems. You will work closely with our engineering team in a supportive environment to gain practical exposure to software testing lifecycles and development workflows.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform automated testing on new technologies and features.
    • Identify, report, and triage defects to improve product quality.
    • Collaborate with Business Analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
    • Write and execute test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage.
    • Support the enhancement and maintenance of existing test frameworks.
    • Investigate root causes of bugs and contribute to test plans.
    • Assist in creating tailored test frameworks for automation.
    • Provide code updates and utilities to support the testing process.
    • Stay informed on system interactions across different teams.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently a 3rd or 4th-year student in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics).
    • Familiarity with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.
    • Practical exposure to programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
    • Familiarity with automation testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Postman.
    • Basic knowledge of Git, CI/CD workflows, or SQL databases.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindset.
    • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
    • Strong mathematical aptitude or experience in programming contests.

    • Location requirement: Must be based in Nepal.
    • Employment type: Full-time internship.
