About the role#
Corteva Agriscience offers a paid co-op program for engineering students to gain hands-on experience in the agriculture industry. This role provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a manufacturing environment, integrating classroom knowledge with practical, real-world assignments. Students are encouraged to rotate through different roles to build a well-rounded understanding of engineering and manufacturing operations.
What you'll do#
- Create operating discipline and provide training to operations personnel.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and solve technical problems.
- Collect and analyze process data to document process capabilities and asset utilization.
- Identify process limitations and propose or implement strategies to reduce or eliminate those limitations.
- Participate in plant Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHS&S) programs.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university.
- Enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program.
- Major in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better.
- Provide your own transportation to and from the work location for each co-op assignment.
