About the role#
The Web Application Developer Intern will design, develop, and maintain client-facing applications to support business requirements. You will follow established life cycle methodologies, create design documents, write code, and configure DevOps utilities. This role involves resolving technical issues through debugging and research while supporting existing applications.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and corporate systems.
- Analyze and design application systems by translating user requirements into technical solutions.
- Plan, investigate, and propose new system and application solutions.
- Prepare workflows for writing, testing, and maintaining computer programs.
- Architect program specifications and business logic.
- Create and update user manuals and technical documentation.
- Correct, test, and document changes to existing programs.
- Conduct training and presentations.
- Participate in a night and weekend rotation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related subject.
- Hands-on experience in object-oriented languages or frameworks.
- Experience with relational database management systems.
- Familiarity with web technologies and software application development platforms.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate professionalism.

- Location: Louisville, Kentucky, USA.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Commitment: 40 hours per week for 10 to 12 weeks.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
