About the role#
The Group Sales Intern supports the Flyers Group Sales Department and Xfinity Mobile Arena events. This role focuses on delivering exceptional fan experiences and assisting with the daily operations of the sales team.
What you'll do#
- Promote Xfinity Mobile Arena family shows and concerts to group customers.
- Implement the Xfinity Mobile Arena Tour Program.
- Facilitate gameday group experiences, including pregame ice times, Mites on Ice, and group photos with Gritty.
- Research target markets and create promotional materials for group events.
- Manage existing core customer accounts by assisting with show selection, order processing, and ticket distribution.
- Update and maintain the department database and communicate event information to clients.
- Support Group Events Sales Representatives with daily tasks and event night activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college junior, senior, or graduate student.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest or experience in sales.
- Ability to work on projects with varying degrees of difficulty.
- Relevant academic backgrounds include Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Health, or Psychology.
