    About the role#

    This is a temporary full-time co-op position within the Emerging Business Model department. You will contribute to system-based solution initiatives, working alongside experienced team members to build and refine applications that support embedded insurance services.

    What you'll do#

    • Write, debug, and refine code for system-based solutions.
    • Assist in the design and implementation of small to medium-scale features.
    • Support quality assurance through unit testing, system validations, and user-acceptance testing.
    • Collaborate with the team to estimate tasks and document development processes.
    • Participate in developing implementation and back-out strategies.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in SQL.
    • Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps practices.
    • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
    • A strong desire to learn and tackle technical challenges.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
    • Work Modality: Hybrid (2 days in office).
    • Term: 4 to 8 months.
    • Compensation: $23–$27 per hour.
    • Employment is subject to a background check.
