Software Developer, Co-op

About the role#

As a Software Developer Co-op, you will join our engineering team to work on our SaaS product suite. You will gain hands-on experience with technologies including Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, React Native, MySQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch. You will be mentored by experienced developers while contributing to complex technical challenges.

What you'll do#

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software code within the product suite.
• Contribute to technical scoping and planning for development projects.
• Collaborate across the development organization and communicate project progress.
• Participate in code reviews by providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Implement new features and deliver solutions for customer-impacting issues.
• Participate in team initiatives and contribute to product support through rotational assignments.

What you'll need#

• Completed second-year coursework in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, programming languages, and SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• A keen interest in utilizing AI to improve your development craft.

Location & details#

• Locations: Toronto, ON; Vancouver, BC; Calgary, AB.
• Term: Fall 2026 (September 2026 to April 2026).
• Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in-office.
• Compensation: $67,000 CAD base pay, plus 4% vacation pay.
