About the role#
This part-time, year-round internship is located in the Administration Division of the Airports Department. The position serves as a training opportunity in the field of public administration and the operational functions of City departments. Interns may work up to 29 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Perform basic account reconciliations, including payroll.
- Support both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Provide research, administrative, and technical support to an assigned City department.
- Complete various administrative, project-related, and financial assignments.
What you'll need#
- Minimum of one year of college-level coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically for spreadsheet creation and data entry.
- Foundational knowledge of account reconciliation practices.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Location: Oklahoma City, OK.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay Range: $17.50 – $22.50 per hour.
- Note: Employees assigned to the Airports Department must successfully pass a thorough TSA background check, including fingerprinting.
