Student Ministry Coordinator (Development)

About the role#

The Student Ministry Coordinator (Development) provides essential support to CFStudents activities at the Gardens location. This part-time, 25-hour-a-week role focuses on discipling students, building volunteer teams, and executing ministry events. You will work directly with the Boynton Beach CFStudents Director to manage daily operations and campus-level programming.

What you'll do#

• Lead weekly CFStudents experiences, including Wednesday services and special events like camps and retreats.
• Recruit, onboard, and mentor adult volunteers, including Service Volunteers and Group Leaders.
• Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining calendars, attendance records, and event agendas.
• Track ministry budgets and reconcile department financial statements.
• Communicate project plans and service details clearly to ministry leaders.
• Mobilize students to participate in broader church initiatives, including weekend worship and community service events.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or completion of a college degree, preferably in a ministry-related field, Communications, Psychology, or Business Administration.
• At least 2 years of experience in student ministry.
• Proven ability to build and lead teams, specifically regarding volunteer recruitment and training.
• Proficiency with computers and social media, with the ability to quickly master new software and technology platforms.
