Software Engineer Intern

About the role#

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work directly with the engineering team to build and maintain technology that supports customer acquisition. This role offers the opportunity to participate in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design to final testing, while gaining hands-on experience with cloud-based applications and distributed systems.

What you'll do#

• Contribute to the development of internal platforms and services that power analytics and business insights.
• Build and maintain APIs and backend services that connect multiple data sources.
• Work on distributed, event-driven applications designed to process and deliver data at scale.
• Collaborate with engineering, data engineering, and data science teams to support analytics initiatives.
• Gain experience designing, building, and operating cloud-based applications and services.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• Experience with C# and .NET development.
• Understanding of SQL and relational database concepts, including database design and writing queries.
• Familiarity with web development basics, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of software development fundamentals such as source control, debugging, and object-oriented programming.

Location & details#

• This is a full-time, paid internship.
• The role is hybrid, with an expectation to work from the Playa Vista, California office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
