About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern at Centerfield, you will work directly with the engineering team to build and maintain technology that powers customer acquisition. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design to testing, while gaining experience in designing, building, and operating cloud-based applications. This is a learning environment where you will contribute to high-quality code and support the development of data-driven insights.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development of internal platforms and services that power analytics and business insights.
- Build and maintain APIs and backend services that connect multiple data sources.
- Work on distributed, event-driven applications that process and deliver data at scale.
- Collaborate with engineering, data engineering, and data science teams to support machine learning and analytics initiatives.
- Gain experience designing, building, and operating cloud-based applications and services.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
- Experience with C# and .NET development.
- Understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Familiarity with web development basics, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of software development fundamentals, such as source control, debugging, and object-oriented programming.
