Commercial Internship Program - Summer 2027

About the role#

The Commercial Internship Program is a 10-week, full-time paid opportunity running from June through August 2027. Interns work within the Commercial Banking group to support projects and transactions that drive the growth of the bank's $70 billion loan portfolio. Participants receive hands-on training, mentorship from senior leaders, and exposure to strategic business initiatives. Successful interns will be evaluated for potential full-time roles in rotational programs following graduation.

What you'll do#

• Conduct company and market research to develop financial projections and forecasts.
• Perform industry research and macro trend analysis to support bank strategy.
• Develop and execute projects focused on business process optimization.
• Review loan proposals and credit files for compliance, accuracy, and credit risk.
• Create presentations to deliver project, deal, and financial updates to clients and leadership.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics, with an expected completion date by July 2028.
• Must be continuing in the same course of study following the internship.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication, and writing skills.
• Knowledge of general accounting and finance principles.
• Ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment.
