Business Solutions & Data Analytics Intern

About the role#

The Business Solutions & Data Analytics Intern will support the BSDA team in driving data-informed decision-making. This role provides hands-on experience with modern data tools, including Power BI, SQL, Python, and emerging AI applications, while working on real-world business problems.

What you'll do#

• Support the development and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various systems.
• Utilize Python to perform data analysis, automation, and data preparation tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
• Clean, validate, and organize large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in exploratory data analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Document processes, workflows, and solutions to support team knowledge sharing.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
• Exposure to programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high levels of data accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour.
