This IT internship at Brose Group provides hands-on experience in supporting IT infrastructure within a motor vehicle manufacturing environment. The role involves managing hardware assets, resolving technical incidents, and maintaining systems in accordance with internal IT security protocols.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to support system requirements.
- Manage IT inventory assets using the internal BITS ITSM tool.
- Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices including PCs, smartphones, tablets, and printers.
- Resolve incidents and service requests while ensuring proper ticket documentation, categorization, and escalation.
- Support hardware upgrades for workstations and laptops, such as RAM and disk replacements.
- Ensure KPI compliance for Windows devices, including patching, antivirus, and BitLocker management.
- Prepare end-of-life devices for recycling according to security standards.
- Maintain IT documentation and identify opportunities for process automation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program with an expected graduation year of 2027 or later.
- Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of network topology and general networking concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft software and software installation processes.

- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: This is a part-time, paid internship. During the summer, the role requires 30–40 hours per week; during the school year, the commitment is 20–29 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
