Public Relations Internship

About the role#

Brilliant Agency is seeking a Public Relations Intern to join our team for the Fall 2027 term. This role offers the opportunity to integrate into an agency environment and develop the fundamentals of a career in public relations. Interns are expected to commit 15 hours per week during regular business hours.

What you'll do#

• Identify media and influencer targets and assist in building outreach lists.
• Monitor and report on media, influencer, and social coverage, including the creation of monthly clippings reports.
• Contribute creative ideas to team brainstorms for client campaigns, activations, and events.
• Draft press materials and research content to improve writing skills.
• Support the management of influencer campaigns, including identifying partners and drafting outreach emails.
• Provide general administrative and research support to the account team, including database maintenance and project-based data entry.

What you'll need#

• Current status as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior.
• Previous office internship experience in the marketing space.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Excellent writing skills and a professional demeanor.
• A drive to succeed, strong organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Health.
