About the role#
BowerGroupAsia is seeking research interns for the Fall 2026 term to support our United States team. This is a paid, remote position requiring a commitment of up to 15 hours per week. We welcome applications from both graduate students and undergraduate upperclassmen.
What you'll do#
- Provide research support for regional teams and field offices regarding politics, economics, regulatory policy, and international trade.
- Prepare and edit briefings, profiles, presentations, memos, and research papers for clients.
- Monitor news items and develop country-specific updates for client review.
- Attend and summarize events related to the Indo-Pacific region hosted by think tanks or universities.
- Assist with data entry and general administrative tasks.
- Provide logistical support for company events in Washington.
What you'll need#
- Strong research, analysis, writing, and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of or experience with China, Southeast Asia, or South Asia/India.
- Professional-level English language skills.
- Background in areas such as finance, energy, IT, manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, or media is preferred.
- Academic background in Political Science, International Relations, Business Administration, Economics, Communications, Journalism, History, or English.

- Location: Washington, District of Columbia (Remote).
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
