CMA Intern - Observation Only

About the role#

The CMA Intern is an observation-only trainee position for students currently enrolled in a Certified Medical Assistant program. This role provides exposure to a healthcare setting, allowing interns to learn about organizational policies and evidence-based practice through supervised observation. This is a paid, full-time, on-site opportunity with rolling start dates.

What you'll do#

• Shadow certified medical assistants in a clinical environment.
• Observe patient-centered care and professional interactions.
• Gain insight into clinical workflows.
• Develop an understanding of organizational policies and healthcare operations.
• Please note that this role is strictly observation-only and does not involve direct patient care.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an active CMA program.
• An understanding of clinical workflows and evidence-based practice.
• Familiarity with healthcare settings and professional conduct.
• Ability to observe and learn from professional interactions.
• Relevant academic background in Nursing, Health Administration, Public Health, or Biomedical Sciences.
