About the role#
The CMA Intern is an observation-only trainee position for students currently enrolled in a Certified Medical Assistant program. This role provides exposure to a healthcare setting, allowing interns to learn about organizational policies and evidence-based practice through supervised observation. This is a paid, full-time, on-site opportunity with rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
- Shadow certified medical assistants in a clinical environment.
- Observe patient-centered care and professional interactions.
- Gain insight into clinical workflows.
- Develop an understanding of organizational policies and healthcare operations.
- Please note that this role is strictly observation-only and does not involve direct patient care.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an active CMA program.
- An understanding of clinical workflows and evidence-based practice.
- Familiarity with healthcare settings and professional conduct.
- Ability to observe and learn from professional interactions.
- Relevant academic background in Nursing, Health Administration, Public Health, or Biomedical Sciences.
