IT Services Intern

About the role#

The IT Services Intern joins the Information Systems department at BXP to support core technologies and front-line operations. This role involves working on a collaborative team to maintain hardware and software across Boston sites, while also contributing to the company's information security program. The position reports to the Manager of IT Services.

What you'll do#

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other hardware.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Adobe applications, and various operating systems.
• Assist with the migration of desktops and laptops to Windows 10.
• Audit and provision software while maintaining company policies and standards.
• Review vulnerability scans and implement necessary security changes.
• Support assigned security solutions and contribute to ongoing IT projects.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft solutions and products.
• A service-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with employees, vendors, and contractors.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving and project management.
• An aptitude for learning new technical concepts and supporting new technologies.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs to install and relocate hardware.
