About the role#
The Paint Shop Digitalization Developer Intern will support the modernization of manufacturing operations at the BMW Group facility in South Carolina. This role focuses on integrating digital solutions into existing paint shop workflows to improve overall efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the digitalization of paint shop processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on ongoing projects.
- Develop tools designed to improve workflow efficiency.
- Conduct testing and validation of new digital solutions.
- Support the implementation of new technologies within the shop.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in digital design tools.
- Foundational understanding of paint shop processes.
- Experience with software development.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
- Knowledge of process automation.
