About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship focused on technical planning for chassis and powertrain assembly. You will work on-site in Spartanburg, South Carolina, supporting engineering projects and process improvements within the motor vehicle manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with technical planning tasks for powertrain assembly.
- Support engineering projects related to chassis manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
- Conduct process evaluations to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
- Document engineering changes accurately.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly line operations.
- Experience with CAD software.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
