About the role#
The Indirect Purchasing Intern will support the procurement of indirect materials and services at BMW Group. This full-time, paid internship is based on-site in Spartanburg, South Carolina, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the procurement of indirect materials and services.
- Support the development and maintenance of supplier relationships.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify and drive cost savings.
- Support ongoing vendor management processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Economics.
- Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
