Bloomberg Associates is seeking an Operations Fellow to support the Operations Practice for an initial six-month term. This part-time role involves maintaining internal project trackers, conducting research, and managing data collection to support city engagement activities. The fellow will work 20 hours per week on average, with the possibility of an extension.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to maintain and improve systems for tracking project activity and organizational performance across cities and practice areas.
- Analyze, clean, and transfer quantitative and qualitative data between internal project management tools.
- Conduct periodic data audits and request missing information when necessary.
- Lead the development of new processes and outputs for internal reporting based on the needs of BA teams.
- Assist with coordination and follow-up across city engagement activities, including meetings with internal teams and city-based project managers.
- Conduct research on topics related to organizational improvement and growth, and assist in updating internal resources and training materials.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Urban Planning, Business Administration, Public Health, Data Science, or Communications.
- Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in affordable housing, urban planning, or public/non-profit administration.
- Background in project management, consulting, or operations.
- Strong understanding of data analysis and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear summaries.
- Familiarity with project management software tools and methodologies.
- Experience with Airtable is considered a plus.
