Intern - Engineering

About the role#

This internship offers college students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world projects. Interns work under the direction of a project director to support various engineering activities, gaining exposure to the professional workplace in a temporary, full-time, paid capacity.

What you'll do#

• Provide support for engineering projects, including design, specifications, drawings, materials procurement, construction, contract administration, and cost analysis for compressor station electrical projects.
• Analyze and recommend solutions to technical problems.
• Prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Contribute to a team-centric environment and adhere to company policies, including workplace safety rules.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's or graduate program in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering at an accredited university.
• Proficiency with personal computer software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, including the ability to write clear and complete reports.
• Self-motivation and the initiative to identify and solve issues.
• Must be able to pass a post-offer drug screen.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
