About the role#
The Accounting Intern at Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. provides general support to the Accounting Manager and the broader accounting department. This full-time, paid position involves assisting with month-end activities, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. The role is based on-site in Fowler, California.
What you'll do#
- Apply accounting principles, regulations, and policies to all work duties.
- Assist with statement reconciliations and process invoices for Accounts Payable.
- Maintain, verify, and update ledgers and software programs, including Manager Plus, Agrian, and AR Tracking.
- Perform data entry, spreadsheet analysis, and prepare information for reports.
- Manage chemical inventory tasks on a daily and monthly basis.
- Provide general office support, including filing and administrative tasks.
- Assist the Accounting Manager with various accounting-related projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university or college as an Accounting major or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas and create spreadsheets, as well as competence in Microsoft Word.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and 10-key by touch skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Reliability and promptness in attendance.
- Ability to work effectively with little direct supervision.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities are a plus.
- Previous accounting experience is preferred.

- Location: Fowler, CA (On-site).
- Compensation: $17.90 per hour.
