About the role#
Bay State Community Services offers bachelor-level social services internships focused on training the next generation of behavioral health practitioners. These positions are paid and provide hands-on experience within our community programs. Internships are available on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
Interns will be placed in specific programs based on their interests and organizational needs. Available internship tracks include:
- Create, Respect, Empower, Wellness (CREW) Intern
- MOAR Historian Intern
- Massachusetts Young People In Recovery (MyPiR) Intern
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Public Health
- Experience working with youth and families
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with systems like DMH, EEC, or DCF is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in additional spoken and written languages is considered a plus
